Vedic Ayurveda Counselor (600 Hours)
Pre-requisites- High School Diploma,
Level 1 and Level 2 must be completed
The Vedic Ayurveda Counselor is divided into three levels and each level is a separate course. Students receive a certificate at each level. However, only after the completion of level 3 and 600 hours, the student is said to have successfully completed the Vedic Ayurveda Counselor.

LEVEL 1- 150 Hours
​
In level 1, 150 hours the focus is on Lifestyle Modifications like dinacharya, ritucharya, and ratricharya using Vedic and Ayurvedic principles in our ancient scriptural texts. In addition, there is a focus on Sattvik Dosha Diet Modifications for Vata, Pitta and Kapha mind and body type. A 25 Hour Mentorship is part of this unit. (student who choose online track will finish the mentorship online). Students who choose Hybrid will finish the Mentorship both online and in person during 1 weekend in Gainesville Florida in FEB 16 and Feb 17 2025.

LEVEL 2- 150 Hours
In Level 2, the student will study another 150 hours the focus will be on women's support. Vedic Ayurveda women coaching program teaches students to see a woman through a spiritual lens through their moon cycle, menstrual period, menopausal and postnatal time by offering ancient Ayurvedic wisdom from our Vedic texts. You learn some plant-based Ayurvedic recipes and spices, daily and seasonal routine lifestyle choices in the PMS, moon cycle, and postpartum time for Vata, Pitta, and Kapha women. At the end of this level, students would have completed a total of 300 hours. A 25 Hour Mentorship is part of this unit. (student who choose online track will finish the mentorship online). Students who choose Hybrid will finish the Mentorship both online and in person during 1 weekend in April 2025 (Dates TBD) in Gainesville Florida.

The Level 3- 300 Hours
In the last level, the focus on the dosha (Prakrti and Vikrti), agni imbalances, marma chikitsa, nidanam and mild imbalances and knowledge of Ayurvedic dravya (herbs) as well as electives like Vedic Astrology (jyotish), Basic Sanskrit terminology, and Vastu (Vedic Feng Shui). There will be a 75 hour mentorship included in this time out of which 40 hours must be done in person if you are planning to take the NAMACB exam. If you are not planning to take the exam then the entire mentorship may be completed online on zoom.
After the successful completion of this program the Vedic Ayurveda Counselor will be able to create simple recommendations using dietary, lifestyle, and contemplative practices like meditation, herbs, meditation, recipes, and self-care strategies to encourage a lifestyle of balance. The Ayurvedic Counselor will be able to educate the general public regarding the basic tenets of Vedic coaching and Ayurveda and suggest some daily routine or seasonal routine practices.

Vedic Ayurveda Counselor 600 Hours is divided into three levels and offered either ONLINE or as HYBRID training delivery (online classes, some in-person classes, and mentorship). Please note that if you plan to take the NAMACB exam, or plan to become a member of NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association), a minimum of 40 hours of in-person is required.

Graduates of the Hybrid program (online classes along with onsite classes and in-person mentorship only) should be able to sit for the qualifying examination for the National Ayurvedic Medical Association Certification board.
RECOGNITION
The Ayurveda Accreditation recognizes Vedic Ayurveda Counselor 600 Hours (Hybrid program with in-person component) and this program is in candidacy for accreditation by Ayurveda Accreditation Commission.
